Understanding Monitor Status
Monitors display status badges to indicate their current state:
| Status | Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Active | 🟢 Green "Active" | Monitor is running and checking for new files |
| Paused | ⚪ Gray "Paused" | Monitor is temporarily stopped (toggle to resume) |
| Error | 🔴 Red "Error (n/5)" | Monitor has failed n consecutive times |
Error States
When a monitor encounters an error:
- The error count increments (shown as "Error (1/5)", "Error (2/5)", etc.)
- The error message is displayed below the monitor details
- After 5 consecutive failures, the monitor is auto-disabled
Common Error Causes
| Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| OAuth token expired | Re-authenticate the source connection |
| Folder deleted/moved | The monitored folder no longer exists |
| Permission revoked | Access to the folder was removed |
| Rate limiting | Retries automatically |
